Our Creator Engages with his Creation

WE AFFIRM that the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, according to his sovereign will, and by his eternal power and infinite wisdom, was pleased to create all things, whether visible or invisible. Our Creator spoke creation into existence and by the power of that same word sustains and maintains his creation. God’s work in providence is the execution of his decree, according to the free and immutable counsel of his good will and pleasure, to the end for which they were created. This preserving, sustaining, and maintaining work of our Creator in providence is seen as the perfect Law-giver enforcing those laws as he is intimately involved with his creation by upholding, directing, disposing, and governing all things.

WE DENY any form of deism that asserts the lack of engagement or intervention of the Creator with his creation.
